There was a season in my life when darkness felt louder than hope. Caught in the grip of substance abuse, battling inner wounds no one could see, and walking roads that led me far from the man God created me to be, I found myself drifting; homeless, addiction, hurting, and unsure of how to break free. Nights felt long, days felt heavy, and the future looked like an unending cycle of survival. But somehow in my fogged mind, I knew God was not through with me.
